Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. You will be an essential member of the Royal Navy’s Learning and Development Organisation (LDO) working with the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to support with all their learning and resettlement needs. This is a part-time role working 32 hours a week Monday to Thursday.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide ongoing learning and development advice to Service Personnel throughout their careers.
- Promote and support access to funded external learning opportunities, including e-learning.
- Find new ways to promote LDO Hub services using a range of media and materials.
- Work with LDO colleagues to deliver L&D interviews, schedule Hub events, and support learners.
- Provide learning resources and maintain accurate education records in JPA.
- Coordinate and approve learning credit schemes for eligible learners.
- Organise, promote, and deliver annual L&D open days and unit-level briefings.
- Raise awareness of Resettlement support and provide 2nd Line Resettlement guidance in line with policy.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise resources effectively.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (M365) applications.
- Strong Administration experience.
Desirable:
- Any qualification in education and teaching, or learning and development (or equivalent).
- Experience of qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring.
