We’re building a talent pool of registered healthcare professionals to support future opportunities within our Clinical Scrutiny team, helping assess candidates applying to join the British Army. This is a non patient facing role, ideal if you enjoy clinical decision making, structured work, and independent working, while making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.

About the role:

  • Full time, permanent opportunities (37.5 hours per week)
  • Home based - with some travel for meetings or CPD events
  • Working within a supportive, experienced clinical team

While we may not be recruiting immediately, joining our talent pool means you’ll be contacted as and when vacancies arise.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing candidates’ medical records and health declarations
  • Making clear, evidence‑based clinical decisions aligned to military standards
  • Accurately completing assessments and documentation on our systems
  • Managing a structured caseload and working to daily and weekly targets
  • Consistently applying professional judgement within agreed guidelines

What we’re looking for:

You’ll be comfortable working in a target‑driven environment, typically managing around 8 cases per day, and will bring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy to your work. You’ll also have:

  • Current UK professional registration (NMC, HCPC or equivalent) with no restrictions on practice
  • Post‑registration experience as a Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist
  • Confidence in making sound, consistent clinical decisions
  • Good IT skills and the ability to work independently whilst part of a wider team
