Base pay range: £29,763 rising to £33,483 upon full competence. We are looking for the next generation of Firefighters to safeguard lives and protect communities, supporting both experienced recruits and those new to the profession.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver focused prevention and protection activities.
- Support fire safety campaigns to enhance public awareness of risks and emergency procedures.
- Serve as part of a skilled and professional emergency response team.
- Respond to incidents to reduce impact and restore normality quickly.
What we’re looking for:
- Good physical fitness, tested during recruitment (Bleep Test level 8.8 minimum, ladder and confined space drills).
- Ability to work under pressure in challenging scenarios.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Capability to obtain Security Clearance.
- Prepared to undertake and pass academic assessments and situational/behavioural tests during recruitment.
