Location: Gosport - HMS Sultan

Type: Full-time, on a permanent basis

Job Purpose

Help train personnel efficiently by mentoring the next generation of Royal Navy engineers, leveraging your expertise without prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training in electrical engineering and related subjects to groups of up to 24 trainees
  • Demonstrate electrical and machine principles during practical sessions
  • Supervise laboratory work and assessments
  • Administer examinations and ensure assessment accuracy
  • Update training materials collaboratively with the Training Design team

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Foundation Degree or HND/FdSc in Electrical Engineering or proven practical/teaching experience in Electrical Engineering

Desirable: Experience with electrical machines and three-phase systems, classroom teaching experience, and a Level 4 teaching qualification.
