Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. The primary purpose of this role is to greet visitors on to the site and deliver exceptional customer service assistance, whilst also providing training course administrative support as required. The role will involve working 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day on a 2 week rota basis:
- Week 1 - 8am - 12pm
- Week 2 – 2pm – 6pm
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring all calls are answered in a professional and timely manner and redirected as appropriate.
- Welcoming visitors on site and signposting as necessary to the relevant department.
- Receiving, sorting and dispatching mail and action any deliveries.
- Ensuring building security is maintained/adhered to at all times. All visitors will be required to be recorded and logged appropriately on entry and exit of the building.
- Ensuring digital welcoming screen is updated daily with course arrival information and welcoming message for expected visitors/guests.
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant Ministry of Defence (MOD) databases are kept updated.
- Providing administration support to the training course teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous Front of House/Receptionist or Administration experience.
- Team player with initiative to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Confident with the ability to engage with customers and other teams.
- Good administration skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and openness to learn different IT applications.
- Ability to work shift pattern and weekends.
