Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Help get better trained warfighters to the front line, faster, by delivering motivating and relevant training to students in an agile Navy in Sonar Maintenance. The purpose of this role is to provide the delivery of Maintenance of Sonar equipment and hardware, to Royal Navy students on their Phase 3 equipment training courses to Sensors Maintainers in the WE department.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering training in the maintenance of Royal Navy Sonar systems, in support of the Royal Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Capability Training Unit.
- Use performance data and insights to drive continuous improvement across RN WE training, including internal and third-party evaluations.
- Identify and share best practices to inform quality and improvement initiatives across training establishments.
- Implement consistent systems and processes to harmonise training delivery across RN locations.
- Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, while supporting personalised learning journeys and representing WE Training needs to delivery teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications: Experience of working on/maintaining modern Royal Navy Sonar Systems.
- Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications: Experience of maintenance of Sonar systems; Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent (will be enrolled onto internal training course if not held); Military weapon engineering Sensor systems or equivalent experience; Experience in managing & maintaining RN WE sensors equipment; Experience in maintenance of RN WE sensors Equipment.
