Are you a recent graduate in science or mathematics, or currently working in an entry-level facilities management role? Are you seeking a challenging position in the energy management sector where you can grow and develop your skills? If so, Entrust Support Services is looking to add an Energy Monitoring Officer to our Energy Management team. Job title: Energy Management Energy Monitoring Officer Job Description: The Role. To work alongside the existing “Energy Monitoring Officer” to act as point of contact for the energy management team to arrange and attend client sites to fulfil our requirements to delivery “Display Energy Certificates” (DEC) including when applicable the required advisory reports. To provide support to the “Projects Engineer” who is responsible for management of client’s Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure key deadlines are meet and continuity of service when principal officer is away from the office. To work closely with the teams “Data Analyst” to ensure data captured from site visits is loaded into our SystemsLink energy management software package in the appropriate manner. Take the initiative to understand new solutions being brough to market that can provide clients opportunities to help on their net zero journey. To Provide support to various property teams, who provide Schools and MAT’s with opportunities to bid for energy management and energy reduction funding. Make a positive contribution to the team and Property Directorate through regular Briefings / Team Meetings Actively promote best practice and safeguarding through the Entrust portfolio of services. What you will do Maintain and update register of clients who are purchasing the Display Energy Certificate (DEC) SLA and ensure relevant reminders are set to identify when renewals are required. Arrange and attend site visits were required to undertake survey of properties and if required to arrange access to energy consumption data. Work in conjunction with the teams “Data Analyst” to ensure incoming data sources are uploaded and pre-validated in the SystemsLink database in line with agreed priorities. Provide operational support to ensure the Energy Management team meet their obligations to clients who purchase the Building Management Support SLA. Identify and recommend improvements to the way the team use the SystemsLinks software package and provide this this feedback to teams “Data Analyst” who will work on the implementation of this improvement suggestion. Attend meetings and events to identify new technologies that are being introduced into the market that will help clients implement their net zero objectives, e.g. solar, battery storage and alternative heating solutions Identify and prepare prioritised Energy Management projects, providing objective, rational supporting data for the development of Capita Investment Plans, the preparation of bids for capital funding and support the management of school-based Energy related projects.
