We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our team on a fixed term contract basis until the end of October 2025.

As an ER Advisor in the ER Hub, you will provide advice and expertise to managers and employees, covering all employee relations issues and employment legislation, across Capita (UK and ROI), and you will play a key part in our continued success.
We work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, from wherever we live in the UK, as long as you have good WIFI.
What you will be doing:
- Providing consistent ER advice and guidance to managers and employees including absence management, welfare and OH referrals, AWOL, performance, disciplinary and grievance appeals.
- Facilitating a proactive approach to absence management to ensure a smooth return to work.
- Raising awareness of the importance of undertaking maternity, DSE, stress and other risk assessments.
- Supporting the business in managing mental health issues and creating a healthy work environment.
- Ensuring accurate and timely recording and management of ER cases on the case management system.
- Acting as the initial point of escalation from the ER Assistants.
What we’re looking for:
- Team player
- ER Advisory experience, a good working knowledge of theory, legislation, and best practice.
- CIPD qualified desirable but not essential.
- Shared service centre experience preferable but not essential.
- Excellent written and telephone communication skills.
- Well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail.
