- Build and own a library of reusable storytelling frameworks and visual standards for the organisation.
- Present insights across SLT, clients, and operational leadership in a clear, compelling, and evidence driven way.
- Advanced Analytics & Data Science
- Apply statistical, predictive, and machine learning techniques to solve operational problems (forecasting, pattern detection, root cause, optimisation, segmentation).
- Develop and operationalise ML models using Snowflake Snowpark, Databricks (PySpark, MLflow), and Python environments.
- Ensure models are explainable, governable, and suitable for public sector and regulated environments.
- Support the development of AI ready pipelines (embeddings, RAG, vector stores, evaluations).
- Streamlit App Development (Frontend for Data)
- Build Streamlit based internal apps and insight tools connected to Snowflake.
- Translate operational needs into intuitive self-service tools for leaders and frontline teams.
- Build user-friendly interfaces for predictive models, performance insights, and scenario simulations.
- Data Engineering for Analytics
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Snowflake teams to ensure curated tables meet analytical requirements.
- Build robust Snowpark Data Frame pipelines, UDFs, and Python based transformation logic when needed.
- Perform advanced data preparation across large, Mult structured datasets (contact centre, telephony, CRM, quality, knowledge, WFM).
- Data Visualisation
- Build and optimise enterprise level dashboards aligned to Capita visual standards, in various presentations layers from Power BI, Quick sight and StreamLit.
- Enhance semantic models and datasets to ensure performance and governance.
- Enable self-service reporting, driving adoption across operational teams.
- AI Enablement & Future Ready Data
- Partner with technology and AI teams to provide the data and evaluation layers for future copilots and agentic workflows.
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, hallucination, and reliability of AI outputs.
- Enable safe, governed, data backed AI deployment across the contact centre.
What We’re Looking For (Essential)
- Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in Snowflake including Snowpark, SQL, Python UDFs, ELT optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, and data visualisation libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with Databricks (PySpark, MLflow, Delta, notebooks).
- Ability to build Streamlit apps connected to Snowflake or Databricks.
- Strong Power BI modelling and visualisation skills.
- Experience building predictive, statistical, or ML models in production environments.
- Ability to work with large structured and semi structured datasets (JSON/variant, operational logs, telephony data, etc).
- Data Storytelling & Communication
- Exceptional ability to translate data into clear, compelling narratives for non‑technical audiences.
- Skilled in visual communication, insight design, and executive level presentation.
- Confident working with SLT, clients, and operational leadership.
- Ways of Working
- Strong problem solving mindset and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to operate in fast paced transformation environments.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous areas, shaping structure and clarity from the ground up.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to influence a broad range of stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience with contact centre data environments (Amazon Connect, QA, WFM, CRM).
- Experience enabling or evaluating LLM/GenAI workloads (RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Familiarity with automated testing, model monitoring, CI/CD in Databricks.
- Knowledge of public sector and regulated data governance.
- Experience with behavioural analytics and journey optimisation.
What Success Looks Like
- Clear, powerful data narratives adopted across SLT, clients, and operational teams.
- Streamlit apps and Power BI dashboards that significantly improve decision making.
