We are now recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join the Capita HAAS contract.

The Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) is an exciting and transformative environment. Over the next five years, this contract will encompass multiple change projects and programmes, making it a vibrant and challenging place to work.

We’re looking for an experienced continuous improvement manager who will work with Operational Teams to drive and support initiatives that enhance Processes, Systems or Customer Service.

This is a home based role.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes
  • Analyse Performance data, identify trends and pinpointing areas where strategic changes can lead to Significant Improvement
  • Map current processes, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Scope, develop, plan and implement Pilot and improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the Change team to become a trusted and integrated member of their teams.
  • Develop robust measurement and evaluation mechanisms for comms and stakeholder engagement across the CI work to show the value of communications and the impact they have had.
  • Work alongside Business Change Managers, supporting the programme Working Groups from a communication perspective, consulting with Working Groups as appropriate on plans and utilising them as a route to cascade communications to those affected by change.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma
  • Full understanding of how AI / Automation can help support Continuous Improvement
  • Experienced in working across business transformation & change communications environments

Desirable

  • Able to manage pilots from planning through to effective delivery
  • Used to working in a busy and fast-paced organisation
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent relationship builder with focus, energy and passion
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, able to set own priorities and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines
  • Experience of working across multi-channels

About HAAS:

The Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) arranges and carries out assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Communities (DfC).

The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an illness or disability affects a person’s daily life. After the assessment, the DWP/DfC makes the decision as to whether the individual will receive any benefits. The Health Assessment Advisory Service is delivered on behalf of the DWP & DfC by Capita.
