As a Candidate Support Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between regional recruiters and candidates, guiding individuals through each stage of the recruitment process with empathy, clarity and purpose. Part-time, permanent role (30 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Support candidates throughout the British Army recruitment journey with empathy and clarity
  • Keep candidate records up to date with clear and accurate notes in the internal system
  • Take ownership of performance targets and strive to exceed expectations
  • Suggest improvements to enhance candidate experience and internal processes
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Provide timely support to regional recruiters to ensure a smooth recruitment process

Essential Skills:

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Confident using digital systems and updating records accurately
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering excellent candidate experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of the British Army recruitment process
  • Familiarity with CRM or applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to suggest and implement process improvements
