You'll be at the heart of ensuring that our PensionsOffice and PS Pensions solutions exceed expectations - technically, functionally, and compliantly. This is a role where your work genuinely matters, and your expertise in automation will directly shape the future of our products. You'll collaborate with talented developers, analysts, and the Head of Software Development to embed quality throughout the full lifecycle, introducing smarter, faster, more reliable testing practices.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Selenium and Python.
  • Executing functional, system, UAT, and regression testing across multiple environments.
  • Reporting testing progress, risks, and issues directly to the Head of Software Development.
  • Working with test management tools to track defects, ensure accuracy, and maintain quality metrics.
  • Reviewing and improving testing standards, templates, and quality procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO9001, TickIT +, FCA rules, and security requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by validating solutions, analysing performance, and enhancing QA controls.
  • Occasionally supporting releases or testing activity outside standard working hours.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in automation testing with Selenium and Python.
  • Solid working knowledge of test design, execution, defect management, and structured QA processes.
  • Experience with enterprise testing across multiple environments.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Sybase ASE or Oracle databases.
  • A good understanding of networking concepts and software infrastructures.
  • Ability to install or upgrade application servers such as IIS, Tomcat or EAServer.
  • Experience in ISO standard or ITIL based environments.
  • Understanding of automated regression environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP or .NET architectures.
  • Experience working within auditing or regulated settings.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
