Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Support and maintain applications hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Investigate system and data issues through analysis and problem‑solving techniques
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to resolve issues effectively
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation and share knowledge across the team
- Monitor system performance to ensure uptime and service reliability targets are met
- Follow established processes and contribute to continuous improvement
- Participate in an on‑call rota and carry out out‑of‑hours changes when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and/or AKS
- Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience supporting SQL‑based applications
- Scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Bash
Desirable Skills
- SFTP, Kubernetes, containers, pods, and microservices
- Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- XML and SOAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Linux systems, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle databases
