Full-time role – 37.5 hours a week at Moreton in Marsh.

As a valued member of the Academic Services team, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to help deliver an outstanding learning experience for every customer. In this role, you will play a key part in achieving our goals by managing the smooth input and booking of courses within your specialist area, ensuring everything runs efficiently and supports our wider business objectives.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the input, scheduling, and booking of courses within your specialist area, while maintaining resilience knowledge of another team.
  • Liaise with Training Delivery Team Leaders on priorities, processing times, timetable updates, and course changes.
  • Notify Training Delivery when timetables are published in Celcat and highlight any clashes or shortages so they can be resolved quickly.
  • Book Core Staff and Associate Tutors onto courses in Celcat and ensure timesheets and payments (via Fieldglass) are processed correctly.
  • Represent Capita Fire Service College professionally and help create a positive, collaborative working environment.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams to support smooth course delivery.
  • Share best practice and help drive continuous improvement across Academic Services and Training Delivery.
  • Consistently demonstrate Capita's Code of Conduct and contribute positively to the organisation's culture.

What we are looking for:

Essential experience:

  • IT competency on Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience as an Administrator/Planner/Scheduler.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge or experience of working in a learning/training environment.
  • Knowledge of timetable planning and/or scheduling.
