We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team at Gloucestershire Police HQ, to provide a first response and emergency service capability in respect of temporary rectification and permanent repairs to the facility.
Tascor Services are a Capita organisation who provide a full range of Facilities Management services to the Police, NHS and Fire Emergency services.
What you’ll be doing :

Complete the full range of maintenance and repair activities across the site.

Escalate any equipment issues to the Maintenance and Repair Manager, to ensure they are resolved in a time-efficient manager.

Compile Risk Assessments & Method Statements for maintenance activities.
-
Compile and maintain all maintenance and repair documentation, including equipment service history documentation and unit defect log.

Ensure obsolete equipment removal and new equipment introduction is carried out efficiently and at least cost.

Conduct first- and second-line electrical/mechanical maintenance as required.

To carry out, or to contract to SQEP contractors, all maintenance and engineering activities for the site.

Plan and manage shutdown maintenance activities.

Candidates should hold Electrical Low Voltage Authorised Person (LV AP) accreditation or be willing to work towards this on successful completion of probation period.

Competent in maintaining safe working environments especially in non-office environment facilities with diverse day to day operational hazards and risk to life.

Effective trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong technical knowledge (mechanical/electrical) as relevant to the role.

Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.

Experienced with Risk Assessments, Diagnostics & Fault Finding

A basic salary of £41,000 (40 hours per week)
