As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be hands-on with hardware, visiting customer sites and remote worker locations to deliver deskside support that keeps businesses running smoothly. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you’ll grow your technical skills, build confidence, and gain exposure to a wide range of environments.
What we are looking for:
- Working knowledge of MS Windows OS & MS Office Suite
- End User Devices hardware experience
- Deskside support experience
- Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to deal with difficult customers
- Clean driving licence
- Self-Management with Good Organisational Skills
- Communication Skills
- Ability to follow remote advanced technical instruction
Ideally, you will possess hands on work experience or have a sound knowledge of:
- Desktop / Workstation (Dell, HP)
- Laptop (Dell, HP)
- Server Module Support
- Network Module Support
You’ll be working to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), playing a key part in helping Capita meet its commitments.
