Role Summary Training Delivery Instructor – Mechanical Engineering. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week on a term‑time basis, located at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth. Eligible for UK SC level security clearance. Key Responsibilities * Deliver Marine Engineering training on ship auxiliary systems in line with the Sultan Training Plan. * Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues in the Marine Engineering Electrical training area. * Maintain and update training materials, assess coursework, and provide constructive feedback to learners. * Apply best practice to drive quality improvements across Royal Navy training programmes. * Ensure learner safety, progression, and achievement of KPIs and SLAs during all training phases, including simulated environments. * Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to personalise learning journeys and maintain your CPD portfolio. Essential Qualifications & Experience * Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. * Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace. * Competent mechanical hand skills. Desirable Qualifications & Experience * Experience in Electrical Engineering.
