You’ll have functional responsibilities for ensuring, alongside the Head of Estates, that Recruiting Group provides a best‑in‑class regional estates function fully satisfying internal and contractual requirements. Transport Management is integral to supporting the recruiting operation by providing a critical vehicle fleet in support of the recruiting operation by ensuring safe, compliant, and operationally functional vehicles from which the recruiting teams can be highly effective. The role provides immediate and essential vehicle management and first line assurance to the RPP estates fleet. It requires strong communication and relationships with the REMs and Ops teams and other supporting stakeholders. This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, onsite in Upavon.
What you'll be doing:
- Co‑ordinating all Servicing, Maintenance and Repair for the vehicle fleet of 300 vehicles, ensuring all users are notified in advance of vehicle collection dates
- Reviewing the Vehicle Due Replacement Notifications reports for consideration of further use or changes to vehicle type where required
- Processing transport request forms
- Processing and reporting all Road Traffic Collisions (RTC) to the Data Impact Cell
- Conducting managerial inspections to ensure assurance of policy and process as required under current governance and regulations
- Leading a small team with one direct report
Essential qualifications/skills/experience:
- Fleet management experience
- Management/Team Leader experience
- Ability to organise and prioritise within a fast‑paced environment
Desirable qualifications/skills/experience:
- Knowledge/Experience in MOD White Fleet transport management
- Experience in managing MOD Software Clarity, would be an advantage
- Experience of MOD White Fleet regulations
