Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you'll be doing:
- Delivering training to groups of up to 24 trainees in Electrical engineering and machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3).
- Demonstrating practical electrical and machine concepts during lab sessions.
- Supervising trainee-led laboratory work aligned with module content.
- Administering and invigilating both paper-based and online examinations.
- Marking and checking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintaining and updating training materials with Training Design staff.
What we're looking for:
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- You will have at least a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline), or an HND/FdSc in Electrical Engineering or proven teaching/practical experience in Electrical Engineering.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in the theory and practical use of Electrical Machines (DC Motors/Generators, AC Motors/Generators) and Three Phase AC systems.
- Classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment, ideally with at least a Level 4 teaching qualification.
- Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent).
