Help Royal Navy apprentices succeed in their careers.

We're looking for an Apprenticeship Programme Facilitator to support apprentices at HMNB Clyde, Faslane.

You'll work closely with learners, training teams and key stakeholders to ensure apprentices receive the support they need to progress successfully through their programmes.

This is a varied role where you'll coordinate programme activities, monitor learner progress, provide guidance and support, and help maintain high-quality apprenticeship delivery.

Working across a range of disciplines, you'll play an important role in helping apprentices achieve their qualifications and develop their careers within the Royal Navy.

  • Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis (44 weeks a year)
  • HMNB Clyde Helensburgh
  • Permanent opportunity

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).

  • What you'll be doing
  • Support apprentices throughout their programme, from induction to completion.
  • Conduct learner reviews, provide guidance and help apprentices stay on track.
  • Deliver coaching, mentoring and additional support where required.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices and monitor progress against key milestones.
  • Help apprentices prepare for assessments and successful programme completion.
  • Identify learners who need extra support and put plans in place to help them succeed.
  • Coordinate apprenticeship activities, records and stakeholder communications.
  • Work with training teams to maintain quality standards and deliver a positive learner experience.

What we're looking for

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Data Technician qualification and relevant industry experience
  • Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
  • Ability to attain DBS certification status
  • Ability to attain Security Vetting (SC)
  • Good IT and administrative skills, across a wide variety of systems
  • Ability to manage a high demand workload and prioritise effectively in time-bound situations.

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • Holds a minimum level 3 teaching qualification
  • Holds Assessor Qualifications (D32/33, A1/2/ TAQA or equivalent) - Can be gained within initial employment.
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeships and accredited courses.

This role is offered on a term time basis working 44 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 4 weeks in August.

The salary will therefore be pro rata'd and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
