Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week Hybrid - 3 days in the office. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Help get better trained War Fighters to the front line faster. Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster".
The Course Planner and Scheduler is responsible for the creation and build of course Templates in TAFMIS using the training documentation produced by Training Design. This will also include Scheduling of courses, the allocation of resource and production of timetables in order to meet the requirements of all courses under the scope of Selborne in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the planning, scheduling and administration of training courses.
- Create, maintain and timetable course templates in TAFMIS, working closely with Training Design teams and in line with Statements of Training Task (SOTT).
- Coordinate and maintain accurate training schedules, including publishing course dates to JPA and generating timetables for wider business use.
- Oversee resource and venue planning, ensuring availability is maintained, clashes are resolved and training delivery is fully supported.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for course delivery activities, including visits, guest speakers, external venues and embedded training.
- Maintain up-to-date course and resource information, implementing approved changes and ensuring data accuracy across systems and platforms.
