Full-time, 37.5 hours a week HMS Collingwood. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. This is an ideal role for former Royal Navy Communications Specialists, CIS, WE(C) personnel, or anyone with hands on experience of Naval comms systems who wants to pass on their knowledge and stay close to the front line.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering Communications systems training to Royal Navy students on Phase 2 and Phase 3 Weapons Engineering courses, helping shape capable, confident sailors ready for the fleet.
- Delivering Naval Communications Systems training across the Weapon Engineering Department.
- Using performance insights to continuously improve course delivery.
- Supporting modernised training approaches across simulated, synthetic and classroom environments.
- Working closely with Training Delivery and L&D teams to support personalised learning.
- Maintaining quality and consistency across all Communications training activity.
- Helping implement new and updated training programmes as Selborne modernisation continues.
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Experience in Royal Navy communications systems.
- Desirable: Previous experience in training delivery; Level 3 teaching certificate or equivalent (will be enrolled on an internal training course if not held).
