Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster".

As part of this modernisation students will now be given a personal electronic device at the start of their course to help carry out/aid their training. This role will be responsible for helping to facilitate the distribution and administration of the devices.

This role is Fixed Term until March 2027. Full-time role 37.5 days a week

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you'll be doing

  • Distributing Personal Electronic Devices and their accessories to students on specified courses.
  • Maintaining student allocation logs for those devices issued.
  • Ensuring student profiles are set up on mobile device management system (JAMF).
  • Setting up and maintaining course profiles on mobile device system.
  • Processing and maintaining new App requests.
  • Ensuring the electronic and physical cleaning of devices on their return from the student.
  • Responsible for password resets and raising issues to second line support.
  • Ensuring any 'failed' devices are packaged and returned effectively to supplier for repair.

  • Proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
  • Strong administrator.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
