Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

As a Team Leader supporting Apprenticeships you will play a key role in leading the successful delivery of Royal Marines apprenticeship programmes at CTCRM, ensuring apprentices receive a high-quality learning experience that meets all contractual, regulatory and quality standards.

Working closely with the Apprenticeship Manager and Apprentice Engagement Plan (AEP) Team Lead, you'll drive apprentice engagement, support programme performance, and contribute to achieving wider Centre objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and collaborative leader who is passionate about developing others, maintaining high standards, and continuously enhancing their own professional capability through ongoing learning and development.

  • Full-time role - 37.5 hours a week - Term Time only (45 weeks)
  • Lympstone

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Lead and develop a team of Programme Facilitators and Administrators (Team of 5).
  • Manage performance through coaching, support and regular feedback.
  • Identify and coordinate training and CPD opportunities for the team.
  • Foster a positive, high-performing and collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee apprenticeship delivery to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement across programme delivery and learner outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Promote Duty of Care, health, safety and wellbeing across the team and learners.

This role is offered on a term‑time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non‑working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August.

The salary will therefore be pro rata'd and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
