We're currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant (Maternity Cover) to join our team.
£27,000 per annum
Fixed term until May 2027
The role is primarily to be responsible for 'Parent Billed' music lessons and funded strands of our provision. The Operations Assistant will use software to monitor and update staff timetables, pupil registers, assets, and payments, and will provide regular email and phone liaison with families, schools, and teachers. The role will also involve supporting our annual cycle of music events, managing instrument stock and delivering to schools using a company vehicle.
Responsibilities:- Being accountable for identified aspects of operational service delivery.
- Monitoring, record keeping and communication in relation to 'Parent Billed' music lessons.
- Monitoring, record keeping and communication in relation to 'Young Sounds' music lessons and events.
- Monitoring, record keeping and communication in relation to 'FOSYM' music lessons and events.
- Using software to monitor and update staff timetables, pupil registers, assets, and payments.
- Providing email and phone liaison with families, schools, and teachers.
- Supporting our annual cycle of concerts, events, and CPD.
- Managing stock and resources (instruments and equipment).
- Delivering stock to schools using the company vehicle.
- Supporting Music Service managers in achieving the operational requirements of the service.
- Responding positively to external and internal customers through various communication channels.
- Following service processes and procedures.
- Escalating business risks and issues in a timely manner to Music Service managers.
- Undertaking pre-defined and ad-hoc requests as required by Music Service managers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- The ability to accurately follow processes and procedures and to deliver against an agreed plan or objectives.
