Recruiting tomorrow's Army today. Be the best to support the best! The Recruiting Group conducts Assessment Centres (AC) for candidates wanting to become a soldier in the British Army. This dual role includes performing standard medical tests as well as administrative duties. No medical experience required - full training provided.

Location: Lichfield Assessment Centre

Hours: 37.5 per week, with occasional Saturday work (TOIL available)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out routine medical screening tests, such as audiometry, ECG, vision, height/weight, BMI, urinalysis, and spirometry
  • Preparing and managing medical documentation and ID verification
  • Recording results accurately in both written and digital formats
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and external agencies
  • Handling general admin tasks including correspondence, filing, and photocopying

Essential qualification/skills/experience:

  • Must be IT literate and comfortable using inhouse database
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes
  • Comfortable in carrying out physical checks on potential recruits

Desirable qualification/skills/experience:

  • Experience within a medical environment is desirable
  • Familiarity with the army would be an advantage
