Capita are looking for a Claims Administrator to join us working with a key Life & Pensions client, within a well-established and experienced team. This position will present an opportunity for plenty of customer contact, as well as potential to progress within the organisation in the future. Initially the role will be office based in our central Swindon offices for training, however once competent in the role, you\’ll mainly be working from home with a few days per month in the Swindon office – as such you\’ll need to be based within commuting distance from Swindon. This role is on a permanent, part-time basis of 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE), ideally Monday to Thursday (however this could be negotiable for the right candidate). Capita is an equal opportunity and disability confident employer. What will you deliver? Communicating with customers via both telephone and in writing regarding their bereavement claims. Chasing customers on outstanding information required for their claims. Performing administration duties on claims. Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture. General administrative duties. What are we looking for? Previous administration experience is essential. Previous experience in an FCA regulated financial services environment and / or claims experience in a back-office environment. Full training can be provided on claims processes as long as the incumbent is willing to learn. Excellent communications skills, both written and orally, as this will involve plenty of customer contact. Able to write professional bespoke freeform letters to customers. Strong professional customer service skills, as some communications with customers will be with vulnerable people who have recently suffered bereavement or illness. Good IT skills, including Word, Excel etc., as well as able to learn new software quickly. Self-reliant, able to manage workloads effectively. What can we offer you?
