Required Qualifications
- Experience with SecDevOps and automation.
- Experience managing enterprise security tooling and SIEM integrations.
- Experience using scripting or query languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with containerisation technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, ISO27001, SOC2, NIST or NIS-D.
- Experience onboarding, tuning, reporting or configuring SIEM solutions.
- Understanding of networking and infrastructure design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior security engineers.
- Experience with Microsoft‑focused security technologies.
- Experience contributing to architectural design or onboarding new security systems.
- Experience developing monitoring rules, automation workflows, or configuration changes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, implementing, and optimising advanced security solutions and integrations.
- Monitoring cyber security trends and threat intelligence to inform our engineering approach.
- Providing support, guidance, and mentoring to Level 2 Security Engineers; acting as a point of escalation when required.
- Leading advanced alert analysis, baseline reviews and tuning use cases to improve detection quality.
- Supporting incident and major incident response activities, including identification, containment, and remediation.
- Providing timely guidance on deploying relevant use cases during events and incidents.
- Driving continuous improvement across processes, procedures, and automation.
- Developing and enhancing monitoring rules, automation workflows and configuration changes, with a focus on Microsoft security technologies.
- Working with internal teams and clients to ensure a coordinated approach to security engineering.
- Contributing to architectural design and the onboarding of new security systems, including log source integrations and use case development.
