Join our team and play a vital role in supporting candidates on their journey to joining the British Army. This is a part-time, permanent role working 30 hours per week (9am-3pm Mon-Fri), based onsite at our Upavon, Wiltshire office. Being office-based means you will benefit from hands‑on support, in‑person training, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues in a collaborative setting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Answering inbound calls from individuals interested in joining the British Army
  • Responding to candidate enquiries via online webchat
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records on our internal systems
  • Providing clear information about the recruitment process and next steps
  • Escalating issues or queries when appropriate
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Previous customer service experience, face‑to‑face or over the phone
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to capture information accurately
  • Flexibility to work a shift pattern between 8.15am and 7.00pm
  • A patient, empathetic and professional approach

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with army careers, would be an advantage
