- Full‑time, permanent role (37.5 hours/week)
- Hybrid working: split between home and our Upavon, Wiltshire office
- Initial training: first 4 weeks based on‑site in Upavon, Monday to Thursday
- Induction: you will also be required to attend an in‑person, 1.5 day, induction at our offices in Bovington
We’re looking for an Administrator to support the medical screening process for Army candidates. You’ll join a large, dedicated team helping to keep recruitment operations running smoothly, securely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Moving, indexing and uploading Candidate Medical Documents onto the Defence Medical Information Capability Platform (DMICP), ensuring records are accurate, complete and correctly attributed
- Managing confidential medical documentation in line with data protection requirements, including secure handling, storage, retention and disposal
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents, and computer‑based information
- Interacting with third‑party providers where appropriate, such as candidates and GPs, as part of medical process fulfilment
- Reviewing letters, postal administration and scanning
- Answering the phone and responding to queries
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook
- Excellent knowledge of data protection processes and the ability to apply them consistently
- High degree of attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right first time
- Ability to treat all information in the strictest confidence, handling sensitive medical data appropriately
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to converse with candidates, GP surgeries and colleagues in a friendly, empathetic manner
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Army Careers, would be an advantage
