This is an exciting opportunity for an established Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, multidisciplinary capital projects for a range of public sector clients, including NHS Trusts, education authorities and local government.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering complex, multidisciplinary capital projects for public sector clients, ensuring successful outcomes across time, cost and quality.
- Providing operational leadership for the team, including monthly forecasting, financial monitoring and wider business management to ensure financial targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Engaging with senior leaders to raise the profile of the team and support a strong, collaborative and integrated team culture.
- Leading on new business activity, supporting bids and tenders, promoting the team's services and proactively identifying opportunities through internal and external networking.
- Overseeing team leadership and performance management, including team structure, appraisals, development planning and career progression within the wider team.
- Managing recruitment activity across the team, including role definition, demand analysis and administration of Capita's hiring processes.
- Preparing fee proposals, overseeing invoicing and managing month-end processes, ensuring strong commercial and operational performance.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and key stakeholders, maintaining strong partnerships across the business and with clients.
- Travelling to sites when required, working across a national portfolio of projects (with travel expenses covered).
What we're looking for:
Essential Criteria:
- PM experience in a consultancy environment, managing multi-disciplinary design and construction schemes and delivering projects to time, cost and quality objectives.
- Experience delivering public sector projects, with some Local Authority experience desirable.
