Join a leading Top Tier one main contractor, with an excellent reputation. My client is a Tier One main building contractor that is very well established in the marketplace. Due to an increase in contracts won in the Manchester region, they currently require a Senior Design Manager to join their team.

They deliver large scale design and build projects, with an excellent reputation in high quality project delivery. As a business, they are delivering a good variety of projects within education, commercial, and leisure sectors. Their schemes range between £30 million to £50 million, so experience with projects of this scale is preferred.

The Senior Design Manager they are looking for will have proven experience in planning submissions and pre-construction processes of projects. The successful candidate will have experience working for main building contractors in pre-construction teams. They are flexible on the level at this stage and will review applications to see where candidates can fit within the teams.

As a Senior Design Manager, you will be involved in your designated project from pre-construction stages through to initial design and delivery on site. Most projects run for around 2 years, and they work regionally with a massive pipeline in the North West. You will be attending internal and external meetings, including chairing and reviewing design drawings in accordance with building regulations.
