International Construction Account Executive
Location: City of London
Package: £80,000-£90,000 indicator benefits package and bonus
The Opportunity
A leading London Market insurance broker is seeking an experienced Broker / Account Executive to join their International Infrastructure Construction division. This specialist team handles large-scale infrastructure projects across global territories, with a focus on regions such as New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and other non-US markets.
You’ll join a collaborative team of specialists where you’ll manage the client first hand and get involved with the broking process — from preparing underwriting submissions through to negotiating with insurers and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage placement processes, gather risk information, and prepare underwriting submissions.
Prepare documentation for renewals and mid-term adjustments alongside Account Managers.
Negotiate with insurers to secure terms that align with client requirements.
Respond to insurer and client queries, securing policy updates and ensuring service excellence.
Confirm cover, process policies, and manage outstanding documentation.
Monitor account and credit control queries, escalating as required.
Support senior colleagues with RFPs and major client projects.
Maintain accurate client and placement records in line with market standards.
About You
London Market / Lloyd’s experience, ideally in international construction or infrastructure risks.
Strong technical broking capability with experience handling accounts from enquiry to placement.
Proven relationship management skills with international brokers and clients.
Excellent organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Working towards or holding CII qualifications (Cert CII / Dip CII).
Confident user of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
