Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Handler
Location:Halifax
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (competitive, experience-dependent)

Role Summary:
We’re looking for experienced Account Handlers to support Account Executives managing larger, more technical commercial insurance cases. You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless client experience, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and contributing to a positive, engaged office environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Support Account Executives on complex commercial insurance accounts — ensuring timely, accurate client service
• Act as a mentor to junior team members — helping to develop skills and confidence
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and queries — building strong, lasting client relationships
• Adapt quickly to new systems (training provided) to streamline processes and ensure compliance
• Represent the company professionally in all client and market interactions — showcasing your expertise and personality
Requirements:
• Proven experience in commercial insurance account handling (approx. 5+ years)
• CII qualified (Cert CII as a minimum)
• Confident dealing with larger, more technical cases (e.g. property, cyber, D&O, PI)
• Office-based mindset — committed to being part of an engaged, collaborative team
• Willingness to adapt to new systems and processes (experience with Epiq advantageous)
