We are supporting a growing aviation aftermarket organisation in the search for a Technical Records Officer to join their operations and technical records team. This position would suit somebody with experience within an airline, MRO, leasing company, or aviation aftermarket environment who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and technical documentation management.

Key responsibilities for the Technical Records Officer include:

  • Performing Back to Birth review, analysis and investigations on both piece parts and complete assets
  • Supporting the acquisition and sale of aircraft components through technical records review
  • Creating customer specific documentation packs in line with company procedures and customer requirements
  • Producing extended Back to Birth Records / Movement Traceability Sheets (MTS)
  • Managing OEM manuals and technical reports
  • Supporting quality control reviews of technical records data and identifying ambiguities or technical issues

What we are looking for:

  • Experience within Technical Records in an airline, MRO or aviation aftermarket environment
  • Understanding of Life Limited and Serialised parts processes
  • Knowledge of Boeing and/or Airbus documentation processes
  • Familiarity with EASA / FAA airworthiness compliance, Airworthiness Directives & Service Bulletins
  • Understanding of IATA guidelines for engine LLPs back to birth
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global customers and internal teams
