We are partnering with a growing organisation within the aviation services sector who are offering an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and strengthening the finance function. This Finance Manager position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with some flexibility for remote working. It is a high-impact role responsible for leading core transactional finance activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cashflow, banking, and payroll.
You will oversee day-to-day financial operations while also contributing to wider business improvements, including process redesign, automation, and the implementation of a new ERP/finance system.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Oversee cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital performance
- Manage banking operations and payment governance
- Support month-end close and audit processes
- Take ownership of payroll operations
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and ledgers
- Manage supplier payments and onboarding processes
- Monitor aged debtors and creditors, producing cashflow and payment forecasts
- Act as a key point of contact for supplier and customer queries
- Support system transformation projects, including process mapping and implementation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) or studying towards
- Strong experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance
- Experience managing year-end processes and working with external auditors
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience within aviation, aerospace or MRO
