As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will have experience in the delivery of Workday HCM projects and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the policies and processes that drive best-practice design and configuration across Workday as well as the Workday deployment methodologies. In addition, you will have a strong knowledge of the cross-functional interdependencies and experience working with clients to address challenges. You will be comfortable working across functional, technical and data teams consisting of UK-based and international team members, and linking into a wider programme and account team.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role: You will be working with clients at all levels and advising them on the best solution possible using Workday to meet their requirements. The role will include process and solution design based on best-practice Workday functionality, undertaking Workday configuration, including defect fixing during testing activities, and ensuring integration to other functional areas and applications in the technology landscape. You will contribute to Capgemini's Workday delivery initiatives and contribute to extending the expertise within the Workday Practice and wider within Capgemini.

Your skills and experience: The ability to deliver the Workday functional design and deliver that design through configuration. Good knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, including UK and international statutory requirements and issues that clients will need to address through their Workday solution. Knowledge of the data requirements for Workday HCM and the ability to advise the client on the needs. Knowledge of the Workday capabilities and the product roadmap, with a high focus on AI developments. A strong "can-do" attitude and willingness to share knowledge with and learn from peers. Current Workday certifications in Workday HCM. Strong consulting skills - demonstrable presentation and client-facing skills. All candidates must be assertive and articulate with the ability to sustain, develop and grow existing customer relationships, and build new ones. Experience of working in an on-shore, near-shore, off-shore model.

Your security clearance: To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
