Role: VisionPlus Developer We’re looking for a highly skilled and adaptable VisionPlus Developer. The Consultant Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of complex mainframe-based banking applications. This role requires deep technical expertise in COBOL, CICS, and VisionPLUS, along with strong stakeholder management and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document COBOL programs in a CICS/VSAM/JCL environment.
- Translate business requirements (BRDs) into MVPs and user stories.
- Develop and execute custom application features and functions based on design specifications.
- Create high-level designs and detailed estimates for small to medium-sized projects.
- Review code, design, and unit test results to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Support production deployments and post-implementation activities.
- Participate in and lead crisis calls for production incidents.
- Identify opportunities for system performance improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team capability building.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication.
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in development and maintenance of complex banking applications, particularly in credit card processing.
- Strong hands-on experience with VisionPLUS and its modules (e.g., CMS, FAS, TRAMS, LTS, ASM, VMX, WINGSFM).
- Proficiency in COBOL and CICS programming.
- Familiarity with mainframe tools such as Endevor, Changeman, and batch scheduling.
- Experience in designing and developing medium to high complexity solutions.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
