Your Role and Responsibility

  • Create effective project plans to maximize benefits and minimize the risk.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for projects for review and approval by business counterparts.
  • Drive execution against developed plans within constraints considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality in line with change methodologies.
  • Establish effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processes.
  • Build positive stakeholder relationships providing regular updates to resolve high priority issues affecting the project.
  • Set the pace and operating rhythm of projects in line with delivery approach, driving a culture of achievement, maintaining pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success.
  • Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks, programming manager and steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery targets.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of proven E2E IT project management experience.
  • Experience developing budget estimates and forecasting for IT projects.
  • Experience of managing complex deliverables and strategic requirements and helping drive these to production.
  • Experience of Agile and Waterfall delivery working across multiple geographic locations and time zones.
  • Experience of banking technologies both front and back end.
  • Effective relationship management skills possessing proven experience in building relationships and supporting internal customers.
  • Familiar with the tools Jira, Confluence, MS Office.
