The journey to net zero and growing demand for a greener, more reliable and cost-effective energy system is accelerating change in the Energy & Utilities sector. We are recruiting Management Consultants to join our Energy and Utilities team to support clients across the UK and globally at various levels. We seek experienced consultants who believe in the role of digital and data to accelerate change and deliver net zero outcomes.
We advise on digitalisation and data strategies built on scaled digital platforms, APIs and Cloud. We help organisations define business cases and benefits modelling to shape strategic initiatives. After defining strategy and a high-level operating model, transformation approaches vary by client size and scope.

We advise and shape digitalisation and data strategies, define business cases and operating models, and support transformation to execute strategy with Agile at Scale, Cloud and DevSecOps – across different client sizes.
Your role will be to
- help organisations understand the capability and impact of digital transformation and technology
- define digital / IT-enabled business transformation programmes to implement strategic initiatives
- define how to manage and exploit data to enable organisational objectives
- shape and support delivery of digital / IT-enabled programmes including Agile at Scale, Cloud and DevSecOps transformation
- apply agile ways of working and best delivery principles
- participate in analysis, design and solutioning workshops and produce written outputs, individually or in a team
- build strong, long-lasting client relationships as a trusted advisor at all levels
Why you?
We seek candidates with a proven consulting track record in the Energy & Utilities sector or a related sector, who enjoy collaboration with clients and have a passion for developing people. You will have experience transforming Energy & Utilities organisations through enabling technology and be comfortable in a technology environment, bringing proven skills in leading and delivering management consultancy projects.
You will advise on shaping technology and business capabilities, build a strategy to succeed and define digital transformation roadmaps. Using strategy execution skills, you will own and deliver transformation for clients leveraging Agile at Scale and digital delivery models. A combination of digital strategy and delivery experience with a results-driven, collaborative mindset is required.
In addition, you’ll have the following experience:
- Sector knowledge – understanding trends and issues in the Energy & Utilities sector and related ecosystem, including RIIO-2 capability considerations for the UK Utilities industry
- Excellent presentation and articulation skills – clear written and spoken communication of complex problems and quantitative analyses
- Business relationship building – ability to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels
- Learning and coaching – desire to continue developing and to develop others
