Your role:

As a Programme Manager in our ET&U business, you\’ll play a key role in delivering on our strategy and continuing our growth trajectory. You\’ll be able to demonstrate leadership in both a client and internal context, model our values and develop the team around you.

You will have a highly collaboration approach that is underpinned by clear and structured thinking, a solid foundation in relevant methodologies, a successful delivery track-record, senior engagement skills and a balanced focus on achieving outcomes and outputs. You\’ll demonstrate a high level of drive and be able to motivate the teams around you.

In this role you will:

  • Shape, lead and own the delivery of digital-enabled programmes that implement our clients\’ strategic initiatives, focusing on business value and achieving successful outcomes for our Clients\’ and for Capgemini.
  • Create and grow high-performing delivery teams, leveraging the breadth of our capabilities across Capgemini Invent, the Capgemini Group, our Alliance Partners and our Clients\’ own capabilities.
  • Collaborate with our client account teams to develop long-term strategic client relationships and growth, enabled through your leadership in quality, value, and successful delivery.
  • Unlock further growth through fantastic delivery, identifying and owning sell-on opportunities.
  • Proactively support our key pursuits for new programme opportunities, bringing a relentless focus on winning by delivering differentiated and commercially attractive programme solutions.
  • Play an active role in our Delivery Excellence community, mentoring and coaching colleagues to be their best, shaping the evolution of our delivery assets.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities).
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc. We have an active global delivery community and career development programme.

Your profile:

  • You\’ll exhibit the Capgemini Invent DNA – blending great client-centric delivery, empowering our people to achieve a high performance mindset, highly collaborative behaviours, and ownership of delivering the outcomes that our clients and our business requires.
  • You\’ll demonstrate the leadership characteristics necessary to gain the trust of client stakeholders, internal stakeholders and the teams that you will lead, with the credibility and impact this requires.
  • You\’ll have a mix of delivery experience that covers one or more of Energy Retail, Energy Networks, Energy Markets, Nuclear, Water, and Oil & Gas, and may cover areas such as asset management, digital capital delivery, energy retail systems, control systems/control centres.
  • You\’ll have the behaviours, curiosity methods and techniques that drive great delivery and enable brilliant outcomes, based on a proven track record.
  • You may currently be working in a major Consulting firm and/or in industry but will have client-facing Consulting experience
  • You\’ll have the proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in delivering programmes and on-sell.
  • You\’ll have a track record of delivering projects/programmes, and in your consulting experience with a personal sales allocation KPI of £500K or £1m depending on your level.
