You will work within the SAP Technical team to deliver inventive and often pioneering SAP solutions to some of the UKs most successful and forward-thinking organisations. As part of a team of skilled and professional consultants you will receive the support required to deliver as well as grow within the Capgemini organisation. We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the technical delivery of a major SAP S/4HANA implementation program. This senior role will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple technical workstreams, including:

• SAP Basis
• SAP Development (ABAP, Fiori, BTP, etc.)
• SAP Security (Roles and Authorizations)
• Data Migration using SAP-centric tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit)

Your role

• Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Lead on at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience with a recognised IT Architecture Development framework (e.g. TOGAF)
• Strong understanding of SAP Basis, ABAP and Java development, security concepts, and data migration tools.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in a complex program environment.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Your skills and experience

• Lead and coordinate technical workstreams and their respective team leads.
• Drive the delivery of technical components across Basis, Development, Security, and Data Migration.
• Shape and enforce technical governance, including architecture and design reviews.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Provide input into technical planning and sprint planning within an Agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with functional leads, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
• Deliver technical status reporting to the project board and escalate risks/issues as needed.
• Support cutover planning, environment strategy, and technical readiness for go-live.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with SAP best practices and methodologies.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

To obtain DV clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 10 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
