Overview
We are seeking a skilled Remedy Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications within the BMC Remedy ITSM suite. The role focuses on collaborating with technology teams and the Automation Development team to design Remedy solutions that improve business processes and user experiences. The hybrid working arrangement blends Company offices, client sites, and home working.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize BMC Remedy applications, including workflows, forms, active links, and filters.
- Configure and maintain ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management; troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Remedy environment.
- Optimize Remedy application performance and ensure scalability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Remedy with other enterprise applications and provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades to the Remedy system.
Skills and Qualifications
- BMC Remedy ITSM Certification.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience in cloud-based deployments of Remedy application.
- Wide-ranging experience in developing and customizing workflows and integrations and in programming skills (e.g., JavaScript).
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities with the ability to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels.
Security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
