About the role you’re considering

We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as a Network Operations Analyst managing a variety of Private & Public sector clients within our vast portfolio. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) provides technical help at all levels for a multitude of technologies across complex landscapes, providing expertise to deliver a stable, secure, efficient and well managed infrastructure, over the full lifecycle of each solution. The strength of our NOC lies within our people and our team culture.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

As an integral part of a Network Operations Centre, you’ll have fantastic opportunities to develop both yourself and our collective capabilities performing a mixture of RUN and Project activities with other likeminded Network Analysts. As part of the team, you’ll be empowered to:

  • Network performance monitoring – using application-level traffic monitoring and also low level packet capture to diagnose network issues.
  • Network change implementation.
  • Generate scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API etc.
  • Undertake Project Tasks, liaising with both internal and external Project Managers.
  • Continue to strengthen and bolster your existing capabilities through a mix of professional training, certifications, and experiences.
  • Produce technical documentation and drawings.

    Your Skills and Experience

  • Track record working with enterprise networks with valid networking technical certifications demonstrating proficiency.
  • Experience managing network tools – Riverbed Appresponse & NETIM, Gigamon.
  • Experienced with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect Remote Access)
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding routing issues (BGP, OSPF & EIGRP)
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Experience Generating scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API.
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation Platforms (VMWare) and containerisation.

    Your Security Clearance

    If appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
    To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
