We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as a Workplace Engineer in our End User Experience (EUE) department, supporting a broad span of high-profile clients in our vast portfolio. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
- Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframes.
- Undertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project Managers.
- Undertake NSR tasks to agreed timescales.
- Possess exceptional customer handling skills.

Your skills and experience
- An in-depth knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft Windows O/S (Windows 11, Windows 10), including build, configuration and registry settings is required, along with a level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Intune/ SCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, fault finding, monitoring and reporting desired.
- Networks experience to include an understanding of LAN/WAN/vLAN and Wi-Fi technologies, DHCP, DNS/WINS, PXE and VPN/remote connectivity.
- Understanding of AVD Technology.
- Security - knowledge of disk encryption using BitLocker, NTFS permissions and shared folder security.
- An appreciation of M365, Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, MS Outlook, instant messaging tools.
- Computer peripherals - including but not limited to printers (including MFDs), display screens, docking stations, port replicators, cameras and scanners.
- Working Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) software (ServiceNow).
- Automation - Understanding of Scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VB Scripting, and batch Files is beneficial.

Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
