YOUR ROLE
- Leading the design, development, and deployment of Workday solutions across HCM (including Workday Journeys, Learning, Reporting etc.) tailored to client‑specific needs.
- Collaborating with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Workday solutions.
- Providing subject matter expertise and best practices in Workday functionality and processes.
- Conducting system testing, data validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Mentoring junior consultants and support knowledge sharing across the team.
- Troubleshooting and resolve complex issues related to Workday configurations and integrations.
- Developing and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
- Providing strategic guidance on Workday roadmap planning, change management, and operating model design.
- Contributing to proposal development, RFP responses, and client pitches by showcasing Workday expertise and transformation experience.
- Supporting the development of new service offerings and go‑to‑market strategies within the Workday consulting practice.
- Representing the firm at client events, industry conferences, and internal showcases.
- Driving internal initiatives such as thought leadership (whitepapers, blogs), practice development, and team‑building activities.
- Participating in internal communities of practice to share knowledge and foster innovation across the Workday team.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience with Workday HR programmes.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and how they translate into Workday products and features.
- Strong understanding of Workday roadmap and integration with HR technology.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
- Expertise in developing detailed business requirements and process documentation.
- Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to Agile teams.
- Strong skills in identifying and implementing HR process improvements.
- Proven ability to manage and engage with multiple stakeholders effectively.
OPTIONAL:
- Certification in one or more Workday modules (e.g., HCM, People Experience (PEX), Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Learning etc.).
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background supporting Workday implementations or advisory.
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
