Our DCX (Digital Customer Experience) Practice is now recruiting for a high‑calibre individual who can create, propose and mature Salesforce architecture for our clients whilst utilising the in‑place Enterprise Architecture up/down stream of the Salesforce platform.
Hybrid working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
The responsibilities of your role will include and not be limited to:
- Leading the Architecture and Design of Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B solutions.
- Providing leadership and guidance to technical and functional team members, including setting best practice guidelines and frameworks.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders and establishing best practice ways of working with clients.
- Own the design and architectural outputs from initiation to sign off, as well as acting as an escalation point for technical and design challenges.
- Using your knowledge of the ecosystem to recommend solutions best suited to the platform.
- Provide input and steer to project and delivery plans.
- From time to time, support our Sales team to create an Architectural vision for new projects, and business development activities and accelerators.
Your skills and experience
Experience as a Salesforce Architect ideally on Enterprise scale projects across a variety of industries, with specific focus on eCommerce, Loyalty, and Consumer Products and Retail, delivering a significant number of solutions with Salesforce products your primary focus. Comfortable leading the implementation of an Architecture with internal teams and partners, plus senior stakeholders within the client. Significant knowledge of key Salesforce products within an Architecture, primarily SFCC B2B, but having experience of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Industries (Consumer Products Cloud), and Data Cloud would be an advantage. Experience of working with ISV partner solutions, and in a multi‑platform, multi‑partner delivery environment. Detailed understanding of Salesforce governor limits, and how to work within them when designing an Architecture. Architectural governance processes and practices, including owning artefacts such as decision and assumption logs. Detailed knowledge and advocate of designing declarative solutions within the platform including SFI tooling, LWCs and Flow.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
