We are seeking an experienced “Project Manager” to lead and govern change initiatives across Core Banking Platforms ensuring seamless delivery of programmes spanning retail banking, business banking, payments, lending, and regulatory compliance. The role is responsible for shaping the direction of strategic change, driving end-to-end execution, and maintaining delivery excellence across mission critical banking transformation programmes.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role:

  • Create and maintain delivery plans aligned to the Product Owner roadmap ensuring clear visibility of milestones across Core Banking, Payments, and Lending functions.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking operations, customer onboarding, transaction processing, payments, loan servicing, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Establish delivery disciplines, Agile cadence, and governance standards for the feature team supporting core banking change.
  • Proactively manage issues, risks, and dependencies ensuring timely escalation and resolution across technology and business teams.
  • Own delivery status reporting ensuring accuracy of scope, timeline, resourcing, RAID logs, and compliance checkpoints.
  • Lead vendor and third-party management including RFPs, contract negotiation, and performance governance for banking technology partners.
  • Control financials and resource forecasting ensuring spend aligns with project budgets and cost to serve expectations.
  • Take end-to-end ownership for delivering banking products and platform enhancements on time, within cost, and to the required quality standards ensuring controlled change and stable releases.
