We are looking for an experienced PLM Engagement Lead to drive successful client engagements across complex digital engineering and PLM programmes. You will be responsible for building trusted client relationships, leading multidisciplinary delivery teams, ensuring commercial and delivery performance, and helping clients realise value from their PLM investments. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial acumen, combined with the ability to translate business priorities into successful delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary senior client contact, building strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, digital, IT and programme teams, while ensuring delivery remains aligned to client objectives and contractual commitments.
  • Lead the end-to-end engagement lifecycle, from mobilisation and planning through delivery and transition, providing governance, delivery assurance and proactive management of risks, dependencies and issues.
  • Own engagement commercial performance, including forecasting, resource planning, revenue, cost and margin management, ensuring compliance with Capgemini governance and contractual obligations.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing delivery culture while providing coaching, direction and support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve services and deliver additional client value, supporting business growth, innovation and the continual development of Capgemini's PLM delivery capability.

Your profile

We are seeking a highly experienced engagement leader with a strong background in PLM, digital engineering or enterprise technology delivery. You will combine commercial awareness, delivery leadership and industry expertise to drive successful client outcomes, build trusted stakeholder relationships and lead complex programmes across engineering and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable operating at executive level, managing delivery assurance, and shaping future opportunities for growth.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex client engagements, programmes or managed services within PLM, digital engineering or related enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of PLM-enabled engineering processes and experience with leading PLM platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter/NX, PTC Windchill and/or Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, align business and technical priorities, and successfully govern delivery across multiple teams, suppliers and workstreams.
  • Strong commercial and business development expertise, including experience with contracts, statements of work, forecasting, financial management, change control and opportunity shaping.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the resilience and judgement to operate effectively in complex, highly regulated and client-focused environments.
