Capgemini works with some of the world’s largest brands, in some of the most interesting and complex projects posed in modern IT. The Salesforce Delivery Unit is one of the fastest growing areas within Capgemini UK and focuses on helping our clients achieve business value through the use of Salesforce.com, the world’s number one cloud based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution.

You’ll be working across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, from Consumer Products, Automotive to Telecommunications. You’ll be working with our clients to transform their business using the Salesforce.com platform supported by one of the largest ecosystems of Salesforce apps. You’ll experience variety; one day you could be working with the client to understand their business requirements, the next day you may start building a proof of concept with a development team moving onto developing the final solution that may be used by thousands of end users.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role:

  • Working closely with clients, you’ll analyse exactly what they need. Then you’ll design and develop the right solution to exceed their expectations using your technical Salesforce Marketing configuration and coding experience.
  • You’ll be working very closely with our clients to understand their Marketing Automation strategy and requirements, developing the solution in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and will be confident working with Marketing Cloud, understanding data points, writing data queries in SQL, utilising HTML email templates and Ampscript, and configuring Marketing Cloud Connector with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • You’ll be working within the Marketing Cloud platform and can talk confidently with CRM and Marketing senior executives, being able to demonstrate the Salesforce capabilities and the art of the possible.
  • You’ll spend a good proportion of your time face to face with our clients, so we’ll help to develop your professional communication, presentation and design thinking capabilities.
  • You’ll be confident working both on your own and as part of a wider team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers and architects to deliver low level designs that align both with the client business needs and the architecture of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • You will have a basic understanding of Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud), its capabilities and functionality and also have a basic understanding of AI and being able to leverage this within solutions.

Your skills and experience:

  • You’ll have at least 4+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience covering one or more of the main clouds, Sales or Service. Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification, practical experience on a large global deployment is essential for this role and you will also have at least 4+ years working on large complex end user or client projects setting up Marketing Cloud to create marketing campaigns touching millions of customers.
  • Certified to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Admin as a minimum and evidence of progressing for further certification or Trailhead Super badges.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and SSJS is desirable and understanding of setting up or running an IP Warmup and proven experience taking highly conceptual business needs and/or user stories and translate these into a solution that can be effectively implemented and experience in creation of and understanding of Data design and modelling.
  • Experience working with additional marketing automation solutions such as Braze, Adobe, Oracle, APIs, both REST and SOAP is very desirable.
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Foundations, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Data 360 Consultant certification and Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.

Your security clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
